Top 10 Performing Dividend Stocks I Own Right Now

From the beginning on my investing journey I have been attracted to dividend stocks. The idea of receiving passive income and one day being able to live off that income is really attractive. I have definitely made some mistakes trying to increase my dividend income, but I have also picked some winners.

It seems we all have that desire to increase our income and provide for our loved ones. And dividends can do this over time. If you make smart money choices and are persistent the value of our portfolios will grow.

Are you a dividend investor?

Or do you prefer to earn income from another source like Real estate or side hustle job? If you are a dividend investor leave a comment with your best performing dividend stocks so far.

  4. JPM – J.P. Morgan Chase
  5. HD – Home Depot
  6. MA – Mastercard
  7. WMT – Walmart

Honorable Mention:

  1. CMCSA – Comcast
  2. CAH – Cardinal Health

These are just a handful of dividend stocks I own. In total I own over 75 stocks my dividend portfolio. And I also own some ETFs and Bonds. I have a totally separate portfolio for growth stocks. So far I have been added money and stocks into this account for about 10 years now. Some of the stock positions have grown large, like Microsoft, in proportion to the other stocks.

I have yet to sell an any of my dividend stock positions in this portfolio. I would only sell one of my stocks if I totally lost confidence in the business, such as a bankruptcy. Ex would be the demise of the airlines, but I never held any of those stocks.

Every so often I add a new dividend stock into the portfolio. The last 2 stock additions to this portfolio were:

  • ALV – Autoliv
  • PLD – Prologis

I try to start each new position with $500 and then build it up over time.

Each month I am also dollar cost averaging into each stock within this portfolio.
