Day trip we took: Spain, France, Andorra
From Barcelona you can visit three different countries in one day. I booked the day trip through Get Your Guide. I have used them several times and it is always great.
With a small group we visited France, Andorra, and Spain along the Pyrenees mountains. It is a majestic area with tall mountains and valley towns.
Andorra is one of the world’s smallest countries. You can only get to the country via car. There are no airports or trains. It is located in the mountains and famous for its lack of taxes. It has strong banking and shopping presence. The country is made up of a series of town that are linked together. The skiing parts of the country and world renowned.
There is so much Spanish history in the Catalunya area. While we were there the city was protesting to break away from Spain and become its own independent nation. We got to see a massive peaceful protest through the streets.
Eat and Drink:
Barcelona is a great place to relax and enjoy a beverage. There are coffee shops and tapas bars located on every street.
- Tapas
- Wine
- Dessert Wine
- Coffee
- Pastries
This was such a great trip. I would recommend it solo travelers and for families. There are so many different things to do and see. From hanging out on the beach to having a picnic in the park.
Put this one on your bucket list.
