I am always trying to learn about how I can do better on my financial independence journey.
Maybe there are tips out there I have never heard of or tried. Can I be more productive? Can I enjoy my life more? Can I be better at my job and make more money?
We only have so much knowledge, but there is a plethora of information about there on the web, in books and with other experts. It took me YEARS to put together a financial plan for myself that was simple to follow and produced results.
It is not just about getting the information you need. I often read FIRE blogs to give me inspiration and keep me motivated along my path. I want to live a RICH life. Not just an ordinary or average life.
Here are the current FIRE blogs I read on a regular basis:
- Dough Roller
- I will teach you to be rich
- Mad Fientist
- Our Next Life
- 1500 Days
- Root of Good
- Afford Anything
- Think Save Retire
- His and Her FI
- Financially Alert
- Waffles on Wednesday
- Dash 2 Retire
- Route to Retire
- Guy on FIRE
- The Escape Artist
- Four Pillar Freedom
What I look for when I read:
- Unique point of view
- Money philosophy
- Tips and tricks
- Lifestyle
- Travel Hacks
- Personal and money values
- Investments
- FI Number
- Career advice
I would recommend setting up a consistent time to read each week. Whether that be blogs or books.
Any knowledge you gain should be used to live a more fulfilling life.
